 Power Cells are pickable objects dropped by Power Carriers in Excavation and Defection missions. Depending on the mission:

• Excavation Missions their purpose is to charge the excavators with 20% energy and instantly restore excavator shields.
  • With the excavator starting off at 20% energy, and with each power cell giving 20% more, you need a total of 4 power cells to fully charge an excavator.
  • A power cell cannot charge shields with the nightmare modifier "No Shields."
  • They are dropped from Power Carriers.
• Defection Missions they are used to charge up medical boosters.
  • Each Med Booster starts at 50% power (60% power for solo play) and will consume power as it heals Kavor defectors.
  • Each Power Cell grants a 20% (40% for solo play) recharge per Power Cell.
  • Power Cells are dropped by Mutalist Osprey Carriers and are marked on the map with a yellow icon.
    • In Defection missions, Grineer Manics will spawn and attempt to attack the Kavor defectors. Killing a Manic will make it drop two Large Power Cells. These cells can instantly restore a Med Booster to 100% power.
    • They are identifiable by their white energy glow, in contrast to the blue glow from normal cells.
