Nyth is a resource acquired through mining in the Plains of Eidolon. It can be refined into 
Heart Nyth, or traded for Ostron faction standing 
400 each.
The Advanced Nosam Cutter or the Sunpoint Plasma Drill is required to mine this gem. The gem has a 15-30% chance to drop from blue mining nodes, depending on the quality of the cut. You can also acquire Nyth from red nodes if you hit the narrow sweet spot.
